EVERYTHING BEGINS
Johnny Micalusi is the leading figure in the world of Italian fishing and fine dining.
Johnny’s story is linked to the place where he was brought up, Terracina, a beautiful little town on the Italian coast located between Rome and Naples, popular for the quality and quantity of the fish product in the area. Johnny’s first business was to attend to the unloading of boxes of fish from the fishing boats that dock in port every afternoon, and then to undertake the freediving fishing of seafood as a teenager, before deciding to commit himself to the distribution of the fish product, becoming the undisputed King of Terracina Fish Auction.
The turning point took place in the early 2000s, with the opening of his first restaurant “Osteria del pesce” in Rome..
In the following years he opened restaurants in Rome, Milan, London, Barcelona, Moscow and Porto Cervo with the new brand named “Assunta Madre” as a tribute to his mother..
The consecration as a world-renowned fish restaurateur, stems from the circumstance that Johnny was the first in his business who came up with the idea to embellish his restaurants with a display of fresh fish which is unique both in terms of quantity and quality.
Finally, the most recent development that in 2021 led Johnny to join the brand that carries his name and surname, Johnny Micalusi restaurant located in three exclusive locations: St. Rafael in Ibiza, the prestigious Parioli neighborhood in Rome and, last but not least, the restaurant, born out of a partnership with Flavio Briatore, and located within the Billionaire Club in Porto Cervo, Sardinia.

ON THE ISLAND OF FUN
Johnny Micalusi Restaurant in St. Rafael/Ibiza is a project in its second year of activity and will run from 30 May to 30 September.
All guests of the Restaurant will have the opportunity to eat as if they were in the restaurant located in Rome.
